About Stanislav Lebedev

Why did I choose the profession of an engineer? I have always been curious, striving to develop, and gain new knowledge. Difficult and non-standard tasks inspire me. Working as an engineer every day is a challenge with lots of tasks. There are no instructions, and no one will tell you what to do. It is necessary to make independent decisions, based on your own experience and knowledge. This requires constant improvement of your own skills. That's why I became an engineer. I have over eight years of experience in the automotive industry with companies such as Delphi Automotive Systems (wire harnesses production) and Nokian Tyres (quality and technology department at mixing shop). During this time, I passed the way from a technician to a manufacturing process engineer. I was responsible for the control and development of production processes. I have solid work experience in analyzing processes using the quality management system concept to increase the overall efficiency of production operations and reducing scrap level. My achievements that I am proud of- launch of new projects for the production of auto components for Renault & Nissan, VW Skoda - preparation and launch of production at the new plant - an increase in the overall equipment effectiveness by 5%- implementation of the 5S system at the chemical weighing room (reduced the amount of chemical waste by 23%)- project management for the launch of new equipment into production (Automatic Chemical Weighing Station, Automatic Sample Testing Station, New Software for Mixing Stations)- In 2019 I received the Nokian Star Award for excellent work and contribution to the achievement of the company's goals Outside of work, I continue to engage in self-development. Now I am improving my knowledge in statistical process control and studying Finnish. And in order to relax, I prefer reading books, working out in the gym, and walking with my beloved wife and our dog.
