About Stanislav Samko

Today, I’m a Program Manager and Head of the Data Engineering Center of Excellence at Sigma Software. My focus is twofold: delivering data services that create real value for our clients, and building a mature competence center that grows with evolving industry needs. I lead the development of data engineering practices, foster a collaborative environment for my team, and turn insights into solutions that reach the market. In addition, I drive our AWS partnership program, bringing cutting-edge cloud capabilities into the services we deliver. This chapter is part of a journey that began more than 11 years ago in management. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on complex, high-impact projects with companies such as Mercedes-Benz Group, Deloitte, and BNP Paribas. Another important milestone was lecturing a course for aspiring IT project managers, helping young professionals take their first steps into management and grow their careers with confidence. Looking back, it has been a dynamic path, from steering global projects to shaping today’s data-driven practices. Looking ahead, I remain passionate about building strong teams, delivering impactful solutions, and using data and technology to create lasting business value.
