About Stanley Samlal

A versatile, high-energy professional with more than ten years of experience, eight of which were spent in learning and development initiatives utilising eLearning and blended tools. Over the years, I have gained exposure to and developed a deep understanding of Project Management, Training Need Analysis, Curriculum Development, People Management, Content Development, Performance Management, Facilitation/ Delivery of behavioural and soft skills training. I am proficient in the area of assessments, from Designing and Executing Assessments, to Designing and Administering all kinds of training and assessment tools. I have also conducted research in the areas of material science, mechanics, fracture, longevity, damage resistance, and damage tolerance of composite materials and their structures. The work has an experimental orientation, but the development of analytical tools has also been pursued with the particular objective of developing efficient analytical methodologies that are useful in performing parametric studies early in the design process. I have widely published in reputed journals on these topics and topics related to material science. In the area of curriculum design, I have designed and delivered courses dealing with the manufacturing of composite materials and advanced topics in composite materials and structures.
