About Stanley Small

I am an ambitious Financial Crime Analyst focusing on Money Laundering, Crypto Currencies, Illicit Financial Flows, fraud, tax evasion and serious corruption. I have extensive exposure to both commercial and organized crime matters and provide impactful intelligence driven investigation reports. I have a passion for using data to detect and investigate financial crimes and currently I am enhancing my skills by learning SAS. I deal on a regular basis with stakeholders from the public and private sector and advise on Money Laundering and financial crime related matters. I am honoured to be a permanent member of two inter-agency / inter-governmental working groups, with one dealing with Illicit Financial Flows and the other with regulating crypto assets within South Africa. I have exposure to presenting and providing training at various forums. Previously as an Internal Auditor, I focused on internal assignments, fraud detection, prevention and investigation. I made used of data analytics to detect fraud patterns in large sets of data.
