About Starla Kidd

I am Starla, I am 22 years old. I was a Girl Scout throughout my whole life, all 13 years possible for scouts, and I am now I life long member. During Girl Scouts I received Bronze, Silver, and Rose award. I was a Server for nearly 2 years and On-Call Concierge for a few months for Oakmont Senior Living. After this position I was promoted to Activities Assistance but left the company shortly after. This gives me experience with people, in all age groups. l volunteer and I continue to help who I volunteer for with the animals, fundraising, and problem solving. I also have work experience babysitting for local families. I am also a quick learner with hands on experience. I worked for Oakmont Senior Living. In the time I've worked there I've had three positions. I was hired as a Server and learned very quickly with little training. I acted as a lead when needed and learned time management, multitasking, organization, leadership skills. I dealt with upset residents and worked to problem solve their issue. In Oakmont I've also done On-Call Concierge, teaching me more desk job skills. Lastly in my position in Activities I tried to provide a fun, safe, and happy environment for my residents. I am certified in Plant Based Nutrition, not a nutritionist, and I continue to develop my knowledge on my own in that field.
