About Stathis Giannakopoulos

My name is Stathis Giannakopoulos, and I combine a background in social science, political science, and global health with my current role as Online Reputation Manager at PeopleCert. I hold a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Political Science and History from Panteion University of Athens, and a Master’s in Global Health, International Medicine & Health Crisis Management from the Medical School of Athens (graduated with distinction, 8.58/10). My studies covered communicable and non-communicable diseases, patient rights, bioethics, medical anthropology, and mother-child health. I also completed a Stanford University program on Women’s Health and Human Rights. Beyond academia, I have been a vivid internet user since 1993, growing up in the early days of digital worlds, forums, and online communities. Over three decades, I have observed and participated in the evolution of the internet—from the first community boards to today’s global platforms—building a unique understanding of digital behavior, online communication, and community trust. At PeopleCert, I manage online reputation strategy, responding to Trustpilot and Google reviews, engaging professional communities on LinkedIn and Reddit, and ensuring customer voices are heard with empathy and professionalism. My work helps strengthen brand trust, candidate experience, and community presence across PeopleCert’s global certifications, including ITIL®, PRINCE2®, LanguageCert, and more. I am passionate about connecting social science and communication to digital reputation management, helping organizations build credibility, reduce risks, and engage authentically with their audiences.
