About Stathis Nikou

I am a 3D artist with a strong focus on character creation, rigging, and advanced Character FX (CFX), including muscle, cloth and hair simulations. My expertise lies in transforming creative concepts into lifelike characters that are both visually stunning and technically optimized for performance. Specializing in muscle simulations and CFX, I use Ziva VFX to create realistic muscle dynamics, ensuring that each character moves with anatomical accuracy. For cloth simulations, I leverage the power of Marvelous Designer, which allows me to craft realistic garments that respond naturally to movement, enhancing the believability and immersion of the character. My workflow is supported by industry-standard tools such as Maya and ZBrush, and I have experience in Python scripting for custom tool development, which streamlines processes and maintains the highest quality across projects. I thrive in collaborative environments where I can work closely with designers, animators, and other technical artists to ensure that each character not only meets but exceeds creative expectations. Whether leading a team or contributing as part of one, I am committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in character creation and technical animation.
