About Steen Dalberg

I know the different aspects of development and transformation processes from my extensive experience with agile and software development and I know what is important for the people and stakeholders involved. I gained a lot of hands-on experience and technical knowledge in as software developer, which I have brought into my leading roles as scrum master, agile project manager and SAFe Release Train Engineer. Being able to se things from both the business and development perspective and understand needs on both sides, has been a huge advantage. Agile transformation, consulting and coaching are also a great passion for me and from my long experience, I know what challenges you will face in the development process, and I know how to deal with it. I really want to make processes work efficiently and create value, which has always been the focus in my implementing roles such as consultant, agile coach & trainer and Head of LACE (Lean Agile Center of Excellence) My combination of understanding both technical and business needs has also been vastly used in my consulting roles when I am helping customers succeed developing their products. I have a strong belief in agile, which I have been working with since 2006. Since 2014 I have also been working with scaling and implementing the agile principles on program and business level using different scaled agile frameworks. On top of scrum and Lean certifications, I also hold certifications in scaling agile e.g. Leading SAFe and SAFe SPC (SAFe Program Consultant) • I have a strong passion for optimizing processes and the way we work and how the motivation of skilled people can be unlocked. • I am good at communicating and making people talk. • I keep calm. Even when things seem impossible, there is always a solution. • I am pragmatic. I focus on value and try to avoid wasting time over engineering. • I get the facts straight. Assumptions are the mother of all mistakes. • I am curious. I always try to reach new goals, both in my work and as a person. • I am very serious about my job, but I like to have fun while doing it. • I love the teamwork.
