About Steen Egedius

I have been working 20 years in the field of mission critical Financial systems at Nordea - and now almost 5 years at BEC in same type of business (how time flies!). During 1 year I have also been working as part time Scrum master but mainly same responsibilities in my position as Senior Release manager, now called Platform Expert at BEC. Still after 5 years this is a position with a lot of exiting interaction with internal peer departments and Partners, having other areas of expertice that we depend upon, as well as with vendors and external regulators, but most important with our customers. It was truely an interesting and positive expirience to change from the "old fox" at Nordea to the "new guy" at BEC now almost 5 years ago, but today I am still learning new things about the system architechture, and company processes, and the ways of interacting personally, and between different parts of the organisation. Until End december 2017 - I have worked at Nordea in Denmark, with daily task coordination, configuration, integration and longterm planning of system lifecycle, of various business critical systems on Mainframe, AIX and Windows server platforms. At Nordea I had filled roles as E.g. Technical project manager, 10 years expirience as Teamlead/ coordinator, and also the last few years had a role as service manager for a part of our application portefolio. I have worked with incident, problem and change management, In Line with ITIL best practices, and have obtained a certification within ITIL foundation and ITIL Service operation as well as a certification as Scrum master.
