Assigning Control number to vessel which arriving at harbor.Communicate with Customs brokers, provide and review tariff code information and instructions related to international shipments.Support and maintain on going documentation of logistics procedures related to daily functions.Identify and report to Manager any potential violations of trade compliance regulations.Receive all commercial shipping document and pre-alerts for arriving cargo.Open & update customs entry files on website to ensure timely clearance & accuracy. Calculate the accurate and timely payment of duty to avoid fines and penalties with transmissions.Generate Delivery Order Charge and Detention charges based on Tariff Work closely with service providers to gather shipment details, resolve problems or streamline processes. My job Profile includes monitoring, planning and execution of the project, preparing day to day reports on the dispatches.
