About Stefan A. Hee

I’m a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Project Manager that brings nine years of experience bringing people together toward shared objectives and 19 years of combined experience in the energy industry. I’ve managed very largescale turnaround projects for clients in the oil and gas industry, involving workforces of up to 500 strong and budgets of up to $35MM. I’ve championed dozens of infrastructure maintenance projects across the oil & gas and power generation industries and have been involved with major companies like Suncor, Imperial Oil, TransCanada, Pembina Pipelines, and Ontario Power Generation. To-date, I’ve led three turnarounds and a dozen smaller projects for Suncor and Syncrude, with a total estimated value of $80MM I have a successful track record of managing people across a wide range of professions from tradespeople and inspectors, to engineers, schedulers, cost control, document control, and safety. In 2021 as Project Manager with APTIM, I was able to realize up to 15% efficiency improvements through better mobilization of people and resources When I'm not working you'll usually find me spending time with my family on an outdoor adventure, or hanging out on the couch. Our favorite place in the world is Canmore AB where we can mountain bike, camp, kayak, fish, cross country ski. and eat! When we're not outside though, we make sure we're up to date on what all the Disney Princesses are up to, and keep an eye on the leaderboards on Xbox.
