About Stefan Baasner

What do a critical goal and intelligent measuring systems have in common? Both require precision, timing and the perfect team to be successful. As a mental coach for our newcomers, I focus precisely on these principles - the right timing and the necessary precision. Just like in football, the energy transition needs a strong team in which every component - from technology to regulation - works together perfectly. My own football career didn't work out back then, so I entered the energy industry, which I still consider to be one of the most exciting challenges of our time. As an early adopter and advocate, I have been actively involved in the implementation of the energy transition at national and international level for over 20 years. Since 2007, I have been able to accompany large rollout projects, e.g. at EnBW, E.ON, Stromnetze Hamburg and Stromnetzen Berlin. Since the foundation of m2g-Consult, I have been pursuing a clear vision that hardly anyone believed in at the time: intelligent metering systems as the key to the future of the digital energy industry. Then as now, we are the ‘enablers’ in the implementation of smart energy and smart metering and guide companies through the complex requirements of the energy transition. In doing so, we ensure that you not only fulfil the current standard, but also remain fit for the future.
