About Stefan Bernstein
Been working with Greenland geology and exploration since 1987. Have contributed to several deposit discoveries such as Skaergaard Intrusion's Platinova Reef (1988-1990); stratabound PGE mineralization at the Kap Edvard Holm Complex (1989-1991), Citronen Fjord Pb-Zn deposit (1993) and Disko Bay Diamond Province (2007-2009). Author on > 30 peer reviews papers in international journals. Started Avannaa Resources Ltd (2007-2016) with two partners Hugh MacKay and Nick Rose and successfully conducted >25 exploration projects in Greenland, including the discovery of diamonds at Qeqertaa and the Niaq rare earth metals deposit. Landed two JV agreements with NewBoliden and Anglo American in 2012. Since 2016 engaged in developing Greenland geology for mineral exploration through integrated mapping programmes at the National Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland. This work is conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Mineral Resources in Greenland. Now back in hard core exploration and mineral project development with GreenRoc Mining!
