Simply Telecommunicsations and DC Network addicted.~19 years in technical environment. Started with COLT Telecom as a technician/engineer for PDH/SDH/ATM/DSL and IP Ops. & Maintenance. When moving to ADVA Optical Networking SE, I joined the tech.(Pre) Sales team with main responsibility for Eastern Europe and Middle East (means most countries in the east of Germany). I planned and presented solutions for all ADVA business Units: Transport (CWDM/DWDM), Carrier Ethernet, Synchronisation & Timing with our Oscilloquartz portfolio, Fiber Assurance with an enormous competitive in -Service OTDR solution (ALM) and also ADVA´s virtualization products out of the Ensemble Business Unit. In 01/2020 I have been asked to support the sales team in the DACH Region with focus on Austria and followed the call. That´s where I am now from the perspective of the position but with just a "LITTLE" change: Effective with 2023 ADVA Optical Networking became Adtran Networks SE with the addon of a great new product portfolio in the PON environment (OLT/ONT), Access / Aggregation devices, residential Gateways, Business wireless solutions and so much more. Now Adtran became a full stack provider with the expertise of hundreds of manyears in each of the above mentioned product units. Adtran is able to support its already existing broad customer base and ready to grow and outperform competitiors solutions and services significantly.
