About Stefan Knox

I strive to make positive impact through good design. I am proud to have founded Bang Creations over 20 years ago and lead a fantastic talented team driven to work on products for good that are. 1.) technically feasible 2.) socially and environmentally responsible and 3.) commercially viable. We have a reputation of delivering award winning innovative product design from concept through to production across a variety of industries. We are currently working on electric transportation and driving down energy usage in homes.Clients see my role as a creative lead and innovation champion for their business. I feel privileged to work at board level with various clients on product and innovation and strategy and oversee its implementation.I am passionate about the practice of design and the process of taking an idea through to market. I have developed our own proven “innovation” model which has been successfully used by business for over 15 years, learning which I share in workshops for business and the public. I have been a partner for the British Library Business and IP Centre for over 8 years and find helping entrepreneurs and start up business turn their ideas into reality really rewarding. The future of our planet lies with the next generation of designers. As a Bang Creations Initiative, I have been working with schools, colleges and universities to help promote good design practice and sustainable design- notably Falmouth University students on the Sustainable Product Design course with live product briefs from our clients and sharing best design practice from our design team.
