About Stefan Liske

Stefan Liske has made a career of turning passion into occupation. His first job was as a stuntman specializing in precision driving and aerial feats – from bungee jumping to parachuting. His curiosity then led him to engineering, a field he worked in for 25 years, both as a mechanical engineer and industrial designer. This experience underscored a fascination with disruptive technologies and methodologies, ultimately inspiring Stefan become an innovation scientist. After more than 15 years inside BMW’s Special Vehicle & Design Division, followed by a partner position at Arthur D. Little, and a director role at Volkswagen Group’s Product Strategy and Innovation Projects, Stefan went on to found his own firm. PCH Innovations was established in 2006 for the development of radical technology and business breakthroughs. Over the years, PCH Innovations has fortified its reputation as an innovative studio for regenerative system strategy and thoughtful technology development. Driven by the belief that current modes of living, building and being are often at odds with our innate evolutionary purpose to thrive, PCH seeks out projects that prioritize sustained and sustainable growth, waste reduction, contributive value creation models, resilient infrastructure and the transition to carbon-free energy. PCH applies its extensive expertise in immersive research, hands-on experimentation, high-fidelity prototyping and industrial-grade robotics to three fields driving positive change: Regenerative system strategy, bespoke technology and Circular Robotics. As well as developing patented products and technologies, in 2019, Stefan published his second book with PCH, Changing Matter. Conceived as a non-linear, ‘whole innovation catalog’ in the tradition of the Whole Earth Catalog, the book represents years of collected insights, ideas and ideals. Most recently, in 2020, Stefan co-founded Blank.AI, a company that applies AI/ ML/ DL to augment creativity, improve workflows and de-risk product concept development.
