About Stefan Loher

I take pride in contributing to the market launch of coronary stent systems, balloon catheters, sensor materials, and perovskite quantum dot films for displays. My efforts in driving innovation across diverse fields have resulted in the creation of 11 patent families. I lead teams of up to 12 people, including three sub-project managers, scientists, engineers, and technicians, overseeing strategic development projects. My colleagues value me as a fair, motivating, and decisive team leader who is also hands-on. I have extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional teams from marketing, regulatory and clinical affairs, quality engineering, and production. I implemented a foundational quality management system for a startup supplying materials to the electronics industry, ensuring compliance and readiness for audits. I worked closely with industry partners in Europe and Asia to develop and establish a key production process. My responsibilities included customer and partner negotiations and targeted resource allocation. Engaging relevant stakeholders and my analytical and empathetic approach are key success factors.
