Hi I'm Stefan, an award-winning Art Director who became a Copywriter. I started my career in Trinidad as a Designer then Art Director for over 10 years - working with clients like Toyota, Angostura, and Caribbean Airlines. Then, seven years ago I immigrated to Canada and went back to school to become a Copywriter. Since then, some of my clients included Kleenex, Toronto Parking Authority, Dove, York University, Pizza Hut, and Scarborough Health Network. Crafting both messaging and visuals for online videos, social media, expression of interest, and out of home. Now I'm proud to say I'm an award-winning Copywriter as well! In the "Love Scarborough" integrated campaign, I composed numerous online profiles that told the stories of residents and health professionals living and working in Scarborough to encourage donations to the Scarborough Health Network. It became a massive success, leading to $1 million donated in the first day, a 900% increase in website visits, 281% increase in donors in the first month, and a 296% increase in donations. Culminating in over $100 million dollars donated to date and a 2022 Silver Challenger Strategy Award for a cause or public service. It was just the validation I needed to know I was on the right path. I love working with all types of clients, but as I continue to grow as a creative I find myself gravitating to more purpose driven work that brings real change to people's lives. I'm thankful for this crazy journey and hope to connect with more people who feel the same way.
