Background

About Stefan Oberholzer

I work at the intersection of design intelligence, engineering, and digital transformation — translating complex ideas into practical, scalable systems. My background spans computational design, BIM integration, and automation strategy across major infrastructure and structural projects. I focus on bridging the gap between engineering precision and digital innovation — developing workflows that simplify complexity, improve coordination, and help teams deliver with clarity and confidence. I’m deeply invested in capability building: empowering designers and engineers to work smarter through structured training, process design, and technology adoption. For me, digital transformation isn’t about the tools — it’s about the people who use them, and how well those tools serve their intent. Beyond the technical side, I’m passionate about communication and storytelling. I believe the way we visualise, document, and share our work shapes how innovation is understood and adopted. Whether it’s a computational workflow, a digital strategy, or a creative visual, I aim to connect the why, not just the how. My focus is simple: design systems that work, teach people to use them well, and communicate their value with purpose.
