About Stefan Philpotts

Having spent the early years of my graduate life somewhat confused as to what career suited me best, I've thankfully now fallen into one in education, having spent years working with Apple Retail involved in their internal learning and development team, and eventually delving into the workshops and one-on-one sessions that we involved customers and educational institutions. This experience, along with the eight years I'd spent within a technological environment, helped push me into teaching Computer Science full time, a decision that I'm glad I took the risk on. Coming out of UCL's Institute of Education with my PGCE, an opportunity to teach in Paris happened to come my way, and being a French national (who had lost most of his native speaking ability unfortunately), I jumped at the opportunity. Kingsworth Internation School is smaller and newer compared to most international schools in Paris, but I've used this to involve myself deeper within the school's ecosystem, supporting my leadership team and being an integral member of the team largely due to my desire to develop beyond my role as a Computer Science teacher.
