About Stefan Richner

I spent my whole career in the financial industry, of which more than 20 years in the fund and asset management business. Originally I started as fund analyst performing due diligence and selecting funds for the discretionary business of the world’s largest wealth manager - UBS Wealth Management. Later on I decided to move on within the organization to the fund distribution side where I could build up the open-architecture fund shelf for the advisory business. There, I could also establish a sales and after-sales process in close collaboration with internal fund research and with world's leading asset managers. During that time I worked along the full fund value chain and enhanced my knowledge and experience with many exciting topics and skills like suitability, after-sales, marketing, share class architecture and much more. Now, in my current role as Head Wholesale Client Coverage Switzerland in UBS Asset Management I can fully leverage my experience to the benefit of our clients, being banks, asset managers or intermediaries.
