About Stefane Dias

Ph.D. in Physical Education with 25 yrs. of combined teaching and practical experience in Brazil, Russia, and the USA. Since 2015 I am a Professor of Exercise and Sport Science at Keiser University. Currently, I have seven published books; five in Brazil (in Portuguese), one in Russia,(in Russian), and my latest book was published in September 2022 by Human Kinetics. These books include innovative ideas such as the ISOTON methodology (a Russian method of strength training and wellness that was incorporated into the development of UFC world champions) and comparisons to other methodologies. I was a former co-owner and general manager of two fitness facilities for more than 8 years. In addition, while working as a consultant; I coordinated and developed seminars, international congresses, and fitness specialization programs in Brazil. Stéfane Beloni Correa Dielle Dias, Ph.D, has a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Universidade Federal do Paraná in Brazil and a Ph.D. with honors in sports training and a master’s degree with honors in sport and athlete preparation from Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth, and Tourism (SCOLIPE) in Moscow. In 2005 he received the honor award for the best scientific research of the year at the Young Scientists Conference. Dias worked for seven years as the head strength and conditioning coach of the best MMA team in the world, the American Top Team, where he has trained many UFC athletes. He served as first secretary and counselor of the Regional Council of Physical Education–State of Paraná and has also worked as a guest professor in postgraduate programs at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, Faculdade Estadual de Educação Física de Jacarezinho, and Instituto Aleixo Educacao e Desporto, giving seminars and instructing courses in Brazil, the United States, Canada, Russia, and Portugal. Since 2012 has been a regular columnist for Tatame magazine, where he writes about training programs and elite physical preparation. In 2019 he received the 15-Year Commemorative Medal from the Regional Council of Physical Education–State of Paraná for his contributions to the growth and strengthening of sport in the Brazilian state of Paraná. My goal is to help our students improve their lives by providing quality education to successfully prepare them for work in a competitive marketplace. I successfully taught twenty different courses in the Health and Human Performance, and Exercise Science program receiving outstanding reviews from students.
