I pride myself on my highly motivated spirit and my drive for purpose in life. I'm always looking for new challenges to grow and learn and become the best version of myself. Every employment opportunity, volunteer venture, and educational milestone I meet and complete, I always look for a way to grow and learn from the experience to find a way to greet and meet my goals with ambition and enthusiasm. I have my Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. I love learning about human behavior and why people do the things they do. I aspire to help people for the rest of my life. I also have my Bachelor or Education degree specializing in early years with a major in History and a Minor in Psychology. I am currently working on my Post-Baccalaureate degree in School Counselling part time to develop and advance my skills working with people and children in the field of wellness. I have been a Yoga Teacher for 10 years with over hours of training. I have traveled to many different places and gained immense experience in practice and in teaching through the different opportunities that have been presented to me to teach and to travel. Yoga helps keep me grounded in the moment and not lose sight of what I want in my life. There is a business component to Yoga that keeps me on my toes and keeps me striving for more. I have have been fortunate to have experienced living elsewhere outside of my home city of Winnipeg. I have grown more wise and spiritually mindful after taking a year long personal and professional journey to explore in the beautiful surroundings of British Columbia; residing in Vancouver for the majority of the year and in Kelowna. I currently reside in London, England in the United Kingdom and I continue my growth journey and gain experience through travel and exploration and varied work experience in a new city. I believe everyone should take the leap of faith and live abroad for a short period of time to dive deeper into their sense of self to find what it is that makes them feel purposeful and find what it is that lights up their soul. You can only give to others what you give to yourself.
