My journey began as a Foreman in Water Management, where I embraced the intricacies of anaerobic processes and soon became a specialist. The opportunity to lead as Group Leader of the Water Management Laboratory further honed my skills in managing teams and meticulously handling chemical stocks to ensure seamless operations. Now, as a Water Management Engineer overseeing Fresh Water and Effluent Treatment Plants, I thrive on analyzing operational challenges and implementing innovative solutions. I collaborate closely with senior management to achieve cost efficiencies while simplifying processes for frontline staff. My greatest strength lies in my adaptability, enabling me to bridge gaps between colleagues and superiors of diverse educational backgrounds and perspectives, fostering effective teamwork and optimal outcomes for all stakeholders. Through our collective efforts, my department and I have successfully reduced operational costs over the past two years while maintaining high standards of water quality. I find immense fulfillment in my role as an engineer, where every day presents new learning opportunities that not only benefit our operations but also enrich my personal life.
