Background

About Steff Carrington

I am a highly capable and innovative senior events professional who leads a team to deliver a wide range of events from our family festival for people to our leadership conference for people and many tours and smaller pop up events throughout the year. As a leader I am person-centred and believe in empowering those around me. I'm passionate about holistically developing and supporting the wellbeing and growth of my team and take a coaching approach to my management style. Running my own business for many years, whilst juggling various voluntary leadership roles produced invaluable interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate to a variety of audiences and manage my time well. My teams helped me find my leadership style and my events made me discover a love for organised processes and systems. It is also testament to my work ethic, motivations and capacity. I'm currently the Head of Events at New Wine and specialise in event project management, on-site operational logistics, budget management, safeguarding and health & safety compliance and event evaluations. We deliver a number of events throughout the year to connect with our New Wine family of churches and network of leaders.
