About Steffanie Sanchez

My driving forces for both wellness and hospitality are love. I bring mindfulness to my work. I do what brings me joy and strive to architect my life for continuous growth. My academic background is in Transportation and Tourism Management, a bachelor of science degree, accredited through the University of Hawai'i. There I learned the ethical importance and fragility of mass tourism. I’ve grown to love the logistics of the hospitality industry and find deep interest in the immaturity of the industry and its opportunity for growth. Since graduation, my desire for higher learning has only become more potent. In most recent years I've shifted my focus. In Thailand I studied under Johnny Nasello and received a 200HR yoga certification. I went on to become a certified meditation and trauma informed breathwork facilitator through Ali Choi Wellness and Sam Skelly's Pause Breathwork, respectively. I currently study with Herbalist John Finch at the Self-Heal school in Ocean Beach, California where I'm working to attain my certificate as a clinical herbalist. I work with in the scope of festival bar ops, keeping hospitality at the forefront of my professional passions.
