About Steffanie Schron

Graduate with honors from NYU Tandon School of Engineering in Integrated Design & Media (IDM), the combination of art, design, and technology. I specialize in designing interactive experiences. I have experience using Maya for visualizing 3D structures and motion, Figma for developing prototypes for digital products, as well as Adobe Creative Suite for artistic 2D projects, such as film, animation, and graphic design. My expertise lies in experimentation. Very often, my creative process starts by combining two things that most people think would not work together. However, when paired the correct way, the two seemingly polar opposites work. Motivated by the relationship between form and function, I look to build technologies and experiences that are beneficial, yet enjoyable, both to look at and to use. Friends and colleagues would describe me as curious, creative, determined, collaborative, and optimistic. I believe that the key to great design is utilizing related research, collaboration with experts from varying backgrounds, and having a positive attitude with a determination to make the best design possible. Outside of work I love collating and turning videos and photos of my adventures into reels using Adobe Premiere and After Effects, dance, listening to music from the '90s and '00s, and learning about the environment and sustainability.
