About Steffen Lambertz

After completing my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and successfully completing my bachelor's thesis at the Fraunhofer IPT in Aachen, I began my master's degree in development & design at RWTH. At the same time, I worked as a trainee at JHT Jakobs-Houben Technologie GmbH, where I completed my master's thesis in the field of additive manufacturing. I finished my studies including the master's degree in 10 semesters. This was followed by employment as a senior project engineer at JHT GmbH, where I currently work as Chief Product Officer (CPO).In 2020 I started the part-time study "Management and Entrepreneurship". I graduated with honors in July 2022 with a Master of Business Administration (MBA).At JHT, I am responsible for project planning, development, engineering, assembly and start-up of customer-specific coating, impregnating and laminating lines in the roll-to-roll process. Especially machines for slot die coating - for production of fuel cell components such as MEAs or GDLs or Membrane-Systems for medical applications - are in my area of responsibility. In addition, I implement the targeted use of additive manufacturing technologies in the company (e.g. Laser Powder Bed Fusion for our VacuFL3X-System).
