About Stella Banino

In my career, I hope to use data analysis to empower communities and drive meaningful change. I believe quantitative and qualitative data are powerful tools to understand the root of social issues, advocate for change, improve the efficacy of programs and policies, and communicate impact on local communities. My focus is on asking the right questions, uncovering data-backed answers, and clearly communicating these findings to support evidence-based action. At Environmental Incentives, with the support of my incredible colleagues and mentors, I have contributed to impactful projects that deepened my expertise in data visualization, program management, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement. My background in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, along with experiences with USAID, the High Atlas Foundation in Morocco, ReadyToLeadAfrica in Nigeria, and the Albemarle-Charlottesville criminal justice system, has given me a strong foundation in both quantitative and qualitative research, policy evaluation, and local and organizational capacity building. I’m currently seeking new opportunities where I can apply these skills to support thoughtful, data-informed policy and program design.
