My work spans social research, employment support, and grassroots advocacy with a strong focus on equity, migration, and systemic change.In my role as a Youth Researcher & Employment Support Worker at the Social Planning Council of Ottawa, I support racialized and marginalized youth in navigating employment barriers through tailored job search strategies, career coaching, and confidence-building tools.As a Board Member at the AIDS Committee of Ottawa, I advocate for meaningful youth engagement and support systems for individuals living with or affected by HIV, ensuring our programs are inclusive and community-informed.I’m also the Founder of United in Pride, a grassroots platform that uplifts and supports LGBTQ+ newcomers, immigrants, and individuals from countries where queerness is still criminalized. United in Pride was born from the need to bridge gaps in access, visibility, and support—especially for those navigating the intersections of queerness, migration, and cultural displacement. Through outreach, education, storytelling, and advocacy, we strive to create safe and affirming spaces where LGBTQ+ people can find connection, empowerment, and community.At the core of everything I do is a commitment to equity, healing, and justice.
