As an experienced leader in financial and project management, I specialize in strategy development, risk and compliance. My role centers on providing finance business partner support to executives and managers, enabling effective budgets and financial resources management to achieve strategic outcomes. I am responsible for organization-wide budgeting, forecasting, understanding fiscal responsibility, and managing diverse funding sources. I also prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly performance reports and develop board papers that guide key decision-making processes and long-term strategy. I bring strong expertise in enhancing financial management performance through system upgrade and development, process improvement, and the creation of finance and risk management policies. My experience with cloud-based systems is extensive, having successfully led multiple financial system upgrade projects across various organizations. I lead all aspects of the finance function and provide leadership to the Finance and Accounting teams. I am committed to ensuring robust procedures and processes, mentoring and building capacity as needed, and managing critical deadlines. My experience includes overseeing the annual audit engagement process and leading internal audits with a risk-based approach, always with an eye toward continuous improvement.
