I am an experienced SQL Server professional with a supporting background in software engineering using Visual Studio, VBA, C# and VB.Net. I have expertise in the design, development, and administration of Microsoft SQL Server in support of a development team’s data layer needs, ETL processing and data warehousing, and BI data extraction and reporting.I have significant experience collaborating with stakeholders, business users, and teams to produce requirements, perform business analysis, and add value to data. The most fulfilling times in my career were either working with data or people. The best days involved working with both. • Proficient in writing and maintaining SQL scripts for stored procedures, scalar and table-value functions, triggers, synonyms, and other SQL Server objects.• Expertise in using Change Data Capture (CDC) to automate ETL processing for data store.• Maintained comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and data transformations.• Implemented and maintained necessary SQL Server replication for applications, data warehouse, and other related integrations.• Experienced in analyzing customer reporting needs and delivering timely data, through SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Crystal Reports, Excel, and Power BI.• Developed and maintained SQL Server Service Broker for queue-based execution of real-time ETL processing.• Administrative experience in SQL backups, SQL Profiler for query performance, and SQL Server Agent jobs.Within my listed skills and experience, I am passionate about using data and SQL tools to query, integrate, and report out meaningful information for customers.
