About Sten Tuisk

I have been flying since 2015, beginning my career as a flight instructor and conducting aerial flights with the Cessna 172 and Piper Chieftain. Concurrently, I served as a guest lecturer at the Estonian Aviation Academy. For five years, I worked as a First Officer on a Falcon for an EASA operator, where I gained valuable insights and experience in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high safety standards in flight operations. After my tenure in business aviation, I transitioned to a pilot role with the international airline airBaltic. This position has provided me with extensive experience working in large teams and communicating with diverse individuals in daily operations. To broaden my skill set, I completed a microdegree in programming at TalTech University, covering a semester each in Python and Java, which equipped me with fundamental programming skills. Additionally, in my free time, I have studied JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and React through Codecademy's virtual environment. I have found that my problem-solving skills, honed through my aviation career where adapting to changing conditions is essential, are also highly applicable to programming, where one continually encounters and resolves new challenges.
