About Stepan Tausek

I think it's amazing that professional life is full of surprises and unexpected journeys. Everyone as a child dreamed of some job they wanted to do. It could have been a policeman, doctor, or president, but not everyone is doing what they originally wanted to. There are so many positions that people don't even know existed. Yet we adapt, develop, and learn new skills as we go. I have always wanted to do something big, something that people would acknowledge but now I can see that even small tasks lead to something big if there is a team. Teamwork is a key to so many great things. I would like to be a part of that team. Help my teammates reach the top and maybe even lead that team one day. After my studies at the University of West Bohemia (Business economics and management), I have decided to work in the logistics field because it is an industry that is important at any age and still has many possibilities to grow. Before that, I have worked as an assistant marketing specialist at mentioned University. Now I am working at 4Flow as a Freight cost specialist with a focus on data analysis, report creation, and communication with customers and suppliers. I am a quick learner so I became an important team member after a short time. Also, I have developed my skills with Microsoft Excel, I have learned to use Tableau and also improved my communication at a professional level (in Czech and English) with suppliers, customers, and colleagues all over the world. My personal life consists mainly of walks with my dog and cat, spending time with my girlfriend, reading, watching shows, and playing video games. I am also a massive Manchester United fan so I like to watch football.
