Specialising in Practice Management I have worked predominantly in legal offices both in NZ and off-shore since 1990. With a strong knowledge base of several accounting and software packages, business analysis, systems and financial accounts, are fantastic tools to assist in problem solving – solutions-based strategies specifically designed around your business. Being self-employed for over 15 years, and owning a business during the GFC, I have strong affiliations and knowledge based around trades, services and retail. My entrepreneurial flair and predisposition for innovation with automation, assisted guiding our own business (and clients businesses) into a stable environment. Many of the skills that were developed during this time have been affirmed whilst completing, and graduating with an MBA 2018 (highly recommended to anyone looking at further education). Based full-time in the Wakatipu since 1990, mindfulness is important to my work-life balance. With technology and the flexibility with travel from Queenstown airport, the ability to work anywhere and commute back to enjoy the amazing beauty and many bike tracks of this area are easily achievable. A strong advocate for Central Otago, this area is amazing and captivating and continually changing - as expensive as you want to make it, the area offers amazing opportunities, therefore the sustainability of this area in growth, infrastructure and managed tourism are important aspects of our well-being. Now, with time and experience in my court, the ability to consult in an ‘entrepreneurial’ venture as a consultant in a contract position for other business is where my interest lies. Utilising my skills in areas from HR (with intergenerational, pay/gender and equality issues), striking a balance in your workplace EI, improving cash-flow, freeing up time, or to the development of short and long-term strategic plans, and overseeing the implementation specific to your workplace. Specialising in SME’s, I can assist your business with problem-solving solutions to create you more time.
