About Steph Glover

Experienced Welsh Designer turned dedicated secondary school teacher, with a rich background in transforming interior spaces across various sectors in the UK. With a decade of expertise in the design industry, I've transitioned into a full-time role as a Design and Technology teacher, where I bring my extensive knowledge and skills to inspire the next generation of creatives and problem solvers. Having worked on diverse projects, I excel in every aspect of the design process, from concept development to project management. My services include crafting design schemes, moodboards, furniture drawings, services drawings, CAD drawings, illustrative visuals, 3D renders, and more. Additionally, I hold a Masters degree in Graphic Design, which has ignited my passion for conscious design, sustainability, slow textiles, and contemporary craft. Outside the classroom, I find solace and relaxation by creating with my hands, employing various tactile techniques such as stitch, printmaking, natural dyeing and quilting. Engaging with textiles, grounds me in the present moment, allowing me to slow down and appreciate the process. This mindful approach enables me to experiment freely, exploring various techniques and textures with a sense of curiosity and openness. The sensory experience of working with different materials foster a deep sense of connection, both to the craft itself and to the world around me. Even though my main focus is teaching, my wealth of experience in the design industry continues to inform and enrich my teaching methods, providing students with valuable insights into the real-world applications of design.
