About Steph Hall

I’m an experienced animal care professional with a strong foundation in dog handling, client service, and small business management. For over 10 years, I owned and operated Poochie Mama Dog Grooming in Bayside Melbourne, where I built a loyal client base and developed a deep understanding of canine behaviour, body language, and wellbeing. In 2022, I completed a Certificate in Canine Remedial Massage, furthering my ability to support dogs' physical health. I currently work part-time as a receptionist at Evervet Vet Clinic, gaining valuable experience in a veterinary setting and working closely with pet owners and their animals. I’m now pursuing formal study in Animal Behaviour and Training through a Certificate IV program starting later this year. My passion lies in understanding how animals think, learn, and communicate—and helping them thrive in human environments. I’m especially interested in force-free, science-based methods that build trust and reduce stress. I’m actively seeking opportunities to assist, shadow, or gain hands-on experience with professionals working in behaviour and training. I’d love to connect with others in this field.
