At the helm of pioneering decarbonization initiatives, my tenure with the California Department of Food and Agriculture transcends 5 years, where I have participated in the development of decarbonization projects through climate smart agricultural practices. Central to this role is the management of incentives program-funded projects that have empowered hundreds of California growers to improve water use efficiency and reduce on-farm greenhouse gas reductions. My approach is rooted in collaboration; working alongside scientists and stakeholders, we've developed strategies aimed at offsetting GHG emissions to support California's ambitious carbon neutrality goals by 2040.
