Work Experience at the Peter E. Schmitt Company Established in 1926, the Peter E. Schmitt Company is a manufacturer’s representative firm for the professional audio, video, lighting, and OEM markets. Servicing the NY Metro area for over 90 years, Peter Schmitt is one of the oldest rep firms in the country. With her unique blend of interests and skills and over a decade of experience in retail customer service and employee training, Stephanie joined the team in 2010 to provide in-store product demos as well as to help cover their increasing number of retail accounts. Since then, her duties there have expanded to include- Marketing development and advertisement coordination for key accounts - E-Commerce initiative management for key accounts - Data analysis and strategic planning - Company-wide initiative tracking and deployment - Internal data systems administrator Personal Profile Stephanie is a pianist with a long and deep-running passion for music. As an aspiring linguist, over the years she has studied Latin, Ancient Greek, German and Russian, has a basic proficiency in Spanish and is currently working toward fluency in Japanese. For over 12 years, Stephanie was an active member of New Jersey's 4-H Clubs youth organization, where she organized and participated in annual community service projects and fundraisers, won numerous awards in county and state competitions for leadership and public speaking, and also served as Passaic County’s Top 4-Her from Photography has also been a hobby for which she has both won national awards and been a certified as a professional trainer for ten years. She attended The College of New Jersey and Fairleigh Dickinson University. An honors student with Magna Cum Laude GPA, she majored in Philosophy with a double-minor in Classical Studies and Humanities.
