About Steph Roberts

As CEO of Orbis Education Trust, I have the privilege of leading a group of schools that believe in doing what’s right for pupils – not just what’s easy or expected. We are a values-led Trust, and that runs through everything we do. Optimism shapes how we approach challenges; resilience keeps us focused when things are tough. We support our staff to find balance, celebrate individuality in every school, and harness synergy through collaboration – because we know we’re stronger together. At the heart of it all is a commitment to two things: improving outcomes for pupils and developing the people who support them. Whether through strong leadership, rich professional development, or simply being part of a team that truly cares, we believe both pupils and staff can thrive. We’re not about standardising schools or removing individuality. Our schools retain their unique identity and character while gaining the backing of a Trust that believes in shared strength, not top-down control. If you’re a school looking to grow in the right way, or a professional seeking purpose and support, I’d love to connect. Orbis is a Trust where ambition and compassion go hand in hand.
