About Steph Vaughan

With a career built on hard work and a passion for hospitality, I began my journey at the age of 10 by starting my own gardening business, which I ran until I was 16. I then pursued a career and became passionate about Floristry, turning it into a successful business. My first experience in hospitality came at the age of 14 when I worked weekends at a Garden Centre Café and multiple local country pubs. This early exposure ignited a long-term passion, leading me to my first full-time role at The Duncombe Arms in Derbyshire, a 2AA Rosette and Bib Gourmand establishment. Over the years, I progressed from Restaurant Supervisor to Senior Assistant Manager, developing a strong expertise in managing high-end service environments. After relocating to Birmingham in 2019, I deepened my fine dining and wine service knowledge as a Sommelier at Hampton Manor until May 2021. I then transitioned into hospitality recruitment as a Resourcer, quickly advancing to Talent Delivery Consultant, specialising in Contract Catering. Over the past three years, I have focused on building strong client relationships and delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
