Since becoming CEO of Bostoen NV in 1992, I've worked across 7 businesses generating over €1 billion in annual turnover and employees (Dossche Mills NV, Mexma Food, Gourmand Pastries, Forax). With 30+ years of experience building businesses, I've made just about every mistake a CEO can make. For the past decade I've been applying these lessons through my company Pebble Wave, to help other businesses succeed by becoming more purpose-driven. Since the beginning of my career, I have- Tried pretty much every strategy in finding customers, finding the right people, and growing businesses - Transformed over 20 businesses in 10 years using a self-developed purpose strategy method - Invested over €10 million into businesses in technology, food, agriculture, and manufacturing - And have since become a sought-after expert in Flanders on the topics of business growth, marketing, recruiting and sales. As a result, I gained more and more insights into the business models of successful entrepreneurs, discovered common patterns, and use them to optimise my consulting work at Pebble Wave today.
