Certified Functional Manager | Expert in Archiving, Information Management & IT Systems | ISO 27001, MAIS-Flexis As an experienced professional in archiving and information management, I have developed a strong foundation through both education and hands-on experience. My journey began with two foundation years (propedeuses) at The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS): one in Management, Economics, and Law (MER) in 1998, and another in Information Services and Management (IDM) in 2006. These initial studies provided the knowledge and skills that set the stage for my career in information management and digital archiving. To further specialize in this field, I pursued training programs such as the SOD 1 and the LARM diploma in record management, alongside certifications like ISO 27001. Currently, I am working towards my EXIN BiSL certification to deepen my expertise in business information management. Throughout my professional career, I gained significant experience at the Dutch House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer), where I supported end-users, managed information systems, and contributed to parliamentary library tasks. I later joined the Archive and Collection Team (TAC), taking on responsibilities such as processing, archiving, enriching, and making documents accessible, as well as providing service desk support to users. I also have over 8 years of experience with document management systems, including 4 years as a key user and application administrator for MAIS-Flexis. In this role, I ensured the system's proper use, resolved issues, and provided training to end-users. With this broad expertise, my focus is on improving the accuracy, accessibility, and efficiency of managing and making information accessible, aligning processes with organizational goals, and meeting the needs of users.
