About Stephan Haller

One of my greatest successes was working as a key person on a major international project in Mexico City for Grupo Bimbo, the CDM Azcapotzalco. As key part of the business processes and technology consulting team and as the manager of the software implementation and integration team for the core supply chain management software, together we succeeded in getting the most advanced, highly automated distribution center in Latin America up and running. I'm a deep rooted agile manager who understands how modern software projects as well as software teams need to be managed within an organization. Having managed and supervised a wide variety of modernization projects, I have a great deal of real experience in what constitutes the essence of successful projects. I have a flair for streamlining complicated and convoluted projects and getting them back on track. Through my years of experience as a product owner and also software engineer in the supply chain management and manufacturing industries, I have experienced first-hand the issues that arise when implementing projects. From miscommunication between stakeholders, to the ever-changing nature of the scope or the problem of troubleshooting versus completing more product features, to understanding the challenge of a multi-week, multi-shift GoLive. The most important thing for me is my own transparency, integrity and open communication with everyone involved. Building and maintaining an intrinsically motivated team is the key to any success. The high level of trust that is built up as a result enables efficient collaboration and confident management of critical strategic decisions. In my personal freetime, I am passionate about researching and dealing with new technologies. I remember how excited I was when I tried the early stages of virtual reality or played around with augmented reality technologies like Smart Glasses. During my time as a software engineer, I wrote my bachelor's thesis on the use of smart glasses in a warehouse to identify specific solutions and potential applications. More recently, I have been exploring all areas of 3D printing and enjoy creating digital designs that can be transferred into the real world.
