About Stephan Lapointe

I am a 29 year old Business Management major with an emphasis in Accounting. I was born and raised on the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Indian Reservation located in the great state of South Dakota. I currently have 4 years of college experience with classes such as Business Communications, Business Principles, Ethics, Economics for Managers, Accounting 1 and 2, Payroll Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Governmental Accounting, and Finance. I also currently have over 3 years of experience working in the financial setting and 3 years of experience in the business development industry. I have both my Associates and Bachelors degree in Business Management and Accounting from Sinte Gleska University. I am currently working as the Business Development Officer for the Sinte Gleska University Entrepreneurial Center. We are a newly formed program through the Indian Business Incubator Program grant. Our main goal is help small business development in and around the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and its surrounding areas. We offer help with a wide range of topics such as business plan development, business loan research and applying, cash flow management, as well as marketing and networking.
