About Stephan Nied
Since 2019, I have been working as a Senior Water Technology Manager in the Global Infrastructure Technology Water Treatment department of BASF SE Ludwigshafen. I started my career at BASF in 1983 as a chemical laboratory assistant in the global competence center for polymer research. In addition to my work as a laboratory assistant at BASF, I studied environmental engineering. During this time, my strong interest and passion for water treatment and application technology also developed. From 1998 to 2019, I held various positions at BASF Care Chemicals and BASF Performance Chemicals. I am grateful for the fifteen years I spent working in R&D and application technology for BASF Water Treatment Chemicals activities in industrial water treatment and seawater desalination.
