About Stephane Moretti

I studied Communication Design at Higher Institute of Communication (ISCOM Paris) and obtained in 2003 a master's degree in Communication – with a specialization in Digital Project Management. It was during these studies that I discovered and fell in love with digital design. After graduating, I went back to Lyon and started my career as a web designer in the company of a friend of mine. After 3 years, I quit to become a freelancer. I joined the US group Aquent which allowed me to work for more international companies such as Bayer Crop Science. 5 years later, tired of working alone as a freelancer, I joined Loyalty Company, a startup specialized in data mining and B2B marketing. The success of this company allowed me to quickly become Digital Design Manager and to work for beautiful French brands such as L’Oréal, Michelin or Total. After 7 years in this firm (and more generally 15 years in web & app design), I wanted to change and see something else. So when I saw that Allegorithmic was recruiting, I jumped on the opportunity to extend my skills with software UI design. Since September 2017, I work as a UI designer on Substance Alchemist, the 3D material authoring application of the Substance Suite. I also work as second designer on the Substance Launcher. In January 2019, Adobe acquired Allegorithmic, which allowed me to join a group that I admire for more than 20 years for the excellence of its products.
