About Stephane Ribas

Since 2019, I have led the Agile & Open Source Program at Inria’s Information System Department. My mission is to promote, train, and manage projects using Scrum, Kanban, and XP methodologies, while also designing and implementing Open Source policies for my department (100+ people). From January 2017 to January 2019, I led the SEISM team at Inria (DSI Department), where we developed digital and open-source services and tools for the institute. Before 2017, I worked as an expert engineer in Inria’s Development Department (D2T), supporting developers and scientists in building thriving open-source communities. I also teach at IAE (Open Source Software history, models, and beyond) and at ENSIMAG (Agile Project Management). Additionally, I deliver training sessions on FLOSS and Agile Project Management for institutions such as CNRS. Beyond teaching, I conduct research in Community Management, synthesizing approaches to create and sustain open-source communities.
