About Stephane Roy

Mr. Stephane Roy is a mechanical engineer who has been working for over 30 years, in the design, construction and management of a wide variety of projects ranging in size up to 3 MM$. His strengths are definitely in the management and coordination of heavy industry projects from engineering to commissioning. His current and past positions have given him the opportunity to become well knowledgeable in the following fields: aluminium & magnesium smelter industries, mining & quarries, water treatments, pumping & piping, pneumatics & hydraulics, material handling and oil refining. In addition, his experience and knowledge in instrumentation, electrical and controls design, has been a definite asset when it comes time to leading multi-disciplinary teams. He is also familiar with Mass and Balance Calculations, PFD, P & ID’s development and HAZOP procedures. Mr. Roy has been design mechanical engineer, lead mechanical & piping engineer, project engineer, project coordinator (deputy area manager) and construction manager, Project Manager before joing WSP as Project Director. He is fluent in English and French.
