About Stephanie Baltzer

With 20 years of experience in library and information science, I am the Records and Information Supervisor at Montana-Dakota Utilities Co.(MDU), a leading energy company in the region. I oversee the records management program, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and enhancing data retention and security. I am also a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner, applying the best practices of change management to support the digital transformation and innovation initiatives at MDU. In my previous roles, I worked as a Director of Patron Services at North Dakota State Library and a Head of Technical Services at State Historical Society of North Dakota, where I developed and implemented strategies to improve the quality and accessibility of library and archival collections. I have skills in records management, data retention, and strategic management of digital assets. I am passionate about preserving and sharing the cultural and historical heritage of North Dakota, and I am familiar with the German and Norwegian languages. I am looking for opportunities to leverage my expertise and credentials to advance the mission and vision of MDU and contribute to its growth and success.
